We’ve been building MarketInvoice since 2011. It’s been a great journey so far, made possible by the thousands of thriving UK businesses we’ve met along the way. Now, we’re thrilled to be announcing an exciting next step in our evolution.
As of Tuesday 12 November 2019, MarketInvoice will become MarketFinance.
Updating our name is a culmination of the learning, scaling and evolving we’ve done over the last eight years and a logical progression which more accurately reflects the wider lending choices we now offer to ambitious business leaders. With MarketFinance, businesses have access to a diverse range of flexible invoice finance and business loans solutions — or a combination of both within a single credit facility.
We started as a Fintech challenger, bringing innovation to the invoice finance market by taking everything traditional lenders were doing offline and putting it online. We gave businesses waiting on long payment terms a fast and hassle-free way to advance working capital against their outstanding invoices. Our proprietary selective invoice discounting solution brought new freedom and flexibility, giving businesses control over which invoices to finance.
Since then, we’ve been building our business with a focus on data, technology and being the real people that our customers know by name and can rely on for understanding. To best meet their needs, we’ve expanded our range of invoice finance solutions, launched an enhanced business loans product and created purpose-built Corporate Solutions. This is only the beginning of a much broader and more diverse product suite we’ll bring to the business finance market in the future.
Today, MarketFinance is the first fintech business lender to offer multiple innovative lending products within one user-friendly credit facility. In doing so, we are realising our vision to provide ambitious business leaders with single finance experience, free from the legacy and bureaucracy of the big banks.
As we take this next step, I am grateful to the whole team and our customers, both past and present, who have been the reason for and driving force behind our journey so far. It is through the time spent understanding their needs and listening to their pain points that we have been able to evolve our products and platform to better serve their needs and those of many more businesses going forward.
